The Eye Primer That Everyone Needs

Here's something that needs to go on the top of your Christmas wish list

Okay, so a while back I realised that I needed an eye primer as after a few hours of me wearing eye shadow, it started to look oily and creased in certain areas. After a few weeks, I thought enough was enough and went out looking for the perfect eye primer.

I know of someone who has their own little Younique business (it's a bit like Avon) so I thought I would have a look on their website to see if they sold eye primer and if they did, I would order it through the person that runs their own little business. Luckily, I found out that they do sell their own eye primer and I thought I would give it a go.

This little eye primer completely blew me away as my eye makeup looked perfect from the second I applied it to the second I had to wipe it off at night. It did not budge throughout the entire day. I've been using this eye primer for a good three weeks now and can't really fault it. I've used it on cheaper eye shadows such as the SEVENTEEN collections all the way through to Benefit and Zoeva eye shadow pallets and it worked extremely well for all three brands.

I will say that there is one, well kinda two downsides to this product and that is the price of the product and the price of shipping. This tiny tube of eye primer cost me £19 which I think is a lot of money for such a tiny tube of product. The only way I can justify spending all that money is by saying that it does a really good job, it's essential for an oily skinned gal like myself and you only really need a teeny tiny amount for your eye lids. The price of shipping (as far as I'm aware) is £4.95 which for me personally is a lot of money. Like a lot. All though, I've also heard that shipping is free when you spend over £75 which is why it's best to try and order through someone who runs their own little Younique business as they should order it for you and other people in a bulk go.

If you're interested in looking at the Younique website, then please click here. They have loads of products to choose from so you could potentially find someone's ideal Christmas present on their website!

Overall, I am totally in love with this eye primer. I use this after I've applied liquid and powder foundation and then once it's applied I'll go and use some eye shadow. It dries quickly as well so you don't have to hang around waiting for it to sink into your skin. I can't really fault this product, it just makes my eye shadow last so much longer and also makes it look better for a much longer period of time.
