Five Netflix shows for when you want to 'Netflix and Chill'

Netflix in my opinion, is up there with natural daylight and running water. I love it. I can't see myself living my life without it and so when I was introduced to it a few months back, my life changed for the better. Seeing as I've become obsessed with it, I thought I would give you five of my favourite shows that are currently on Netflix to prevent you from spending about 3.5 hours scrolling through all of Netflix's option, enjoy!

Skins

Skins was a TV programme that I watched whilst in my teens. I became instantly hooked as soon as I watched my first episode, I think I started about under halfway through the third series (the second generation) because I would of been way too young for the first series. Pretty sure I would of been 12 when the first episode came out! Skins is about a group teenagers at their first year and second year of college and shows all the trouble they get themselves into. A lot of them do drugs, sleep with their friends boyfriend and drink until their livers can't take anymore. What I loved about Skins was the fact that they did focus on things teenagers do deal with i.e. unwanted pregnancies, losing loved ones and falling out with friends. Skins for me, is a TV show that I can keep going back to, I've pretty much seen every single episode about three times and I still enjoy it as much as I did when I watched the first time. Skins has always and will always be a show that I recommend to people, nearly everyone that I know that has seen it enjoyed it. Oh, and a lot of them have well known actors playing their parents so you might find yourself going "hey, I know that person!" whilst watching it.

Pretty Little Liars

I had to mention this TV show, it pretty much took the world by storm when it first aired. Granted, I never watched it when it first came out, I think I started watching it when season five came out but I caught up pretty quickly and I would try and explain it all on here but it's way too complicated but if you know, you know. If you haven't seen it already and are interested in watching it, I would avoid Googling it or mentioning it on social media because you're guaranteed to find a spoiler! Pretty Little Liars is one of those shows that always ends on a cliff hanger which means that you have to watch the next episode and before you know it, it's 4 am and you're alarm for work is about to go off in 3 hours....

Doctor Foster

Oh em gee, this was a brilliant series. There's only two series and the first one was by far the best one but it's still packed with drama. To sum up Doctor Foster, it's about a doctor (surprise surprise!) who has a feeling that her husband is cheating on her, who then finds out that her husband is cheating on her but then it unravels that he's actually living another life and guess what...all her friends, family  (apart from their son) and work colleagues know about it. I recommended this show to a work colleague and they watched series one in two days, yeah, it's that good.

RuPaul's Drag Race

Oooo girl, you got She-mail. I f*cking love this show. So much. I pretty much binged watched series two in about three days, I couldn't help myself. I'm even trying to get my boyfriend into it, ha. For those of you who don't know, this show is about a competition for Drag Queens to win the crown and become America's next drag super star. I'm currently on series six but had to slow it down because I didn't watch all the series and become down in the dumps after it ending.

Girl Boss

I watched this as a whim and found myself getting hooked onto it. I've also spoken about this on my blog before so I won't go into too much detail. I wasn't too keen on the main character, I found her to be a bit annoying but the business side of it, I found it to be really interesting. Again, it didn't really take me long to finish it, probably about four days tops. To cut a long story short, it's basically about the woman behind the idea of  the NastyGal website and how it started off with an eBay account. If you're into fashion then you'd probably enjoy this show!

Let me know if you've seen any of these shows and what your thoughts of them are!
