July EMPTIES

Find out what products I'm talking about in my July Empties post

The first product I'm going to discuss is the Nivea Sensitive Cleansing Wipes. My skin can get funny with some products so I always like to go for products that are marked as sensitive just in case I have a funny reaction to them. My skin care routine now doesn't really involve face wipes, the only time I use them is to remove excess makeup in the morning OR if I've got home late and I really can't be bothered to wash my face completely so I always find it handy to have makeup wipes in my room.

The Victoria's Secret Bombshell perfume was a perfume that I wore for date nights and now whenever I smell it, it takes me right back to 2015 which is kinda cute. I bought this perfume from t.k.maxx so odds are I won't be able to purchase it there again but if I ever see it again at a reduced price, I'll be sure to grab it.

Over on the left from the perfume is the benefit highlight. For Christmas in 2015 (I think) I asked for a mini benefit makeup kit and this was one of the products in it. It was a nice highlighter and I would probably use it again but I'm in no rush to buy it again as there's so many highlighters I want to try out on the market. I used it mainly on my cheekbone and it gave such a pretty glow to my face!

On the left of the highlighter is the body shop seaweed oil control gel cream. I used this during the morning before all my makeup and skin care stuff and it worked like a dream. If I was only doing a short shift at work then I would use to replace primer and it did a good job but when it comes to eight hour shifts, it sort of lost its touch after about 6 hours but then again, the environment I work in can get pretty hot. This stuff lasts for ages because you only need a small amount for a decent coverage on your face. If I'm ever to go back to the body shop then I'll probably pick up another pot of this.

The last thing I'm going to write about is the Ocean Salt face and body scrub from Lush. I really enjoyed using this product, despite that it could be potentially be quite harsh on the skin. I usually would use this on my nose to try and sort out my blackheads and sometimes I'd use it on my chin as every now and then my chin tends to have it's own mini break out which sucks.
