Britain's Best Loved Candles

Friday, 3 February 2017

All the way back on Christmas Day I received this candle from a good friend. Now, I love candles but I didn't really give this candle too much thought because I hadn't heard of the name before so wasn't expecting all that much from it. Fairy Dust scent is fairly nice, although it wouldn't be my go to scent, I still quite liked the scent nonetheless. The scent on the website is described as: powdery, warm, sparkly and magical. While I'm not so sure what sparkly and magical smell like, I definitely agree with the powdery and warm part.

The packaging and the size of this tin look pretty cute and it looks like the type to be sold in shops that sell handmade stuff and overly priced but cute items. My friend accidentally left the price on this candle and I was surprised to find that this teeny candle cost £8.95 which I think is a heck of a lot of money for this tiny candle.

Hello there! Handmade in the heart of Somerset, this candle will burn for 30 - 35 hours! Please follow the directions displayed on the inside of the lid carefully to ensure safe use. For best results please burn the candle for around 3 hours at a time. Enjoy your candle!

The candle is from Lily Flame  and if I'm honest I haven't really heard of the name till now. But seeing as this candle is magical (see what I did there? Ha.) I'm deffo going to be buying some more of these candles. The small but mighty candle can easily fill a whole room in a matter of minutes. It's not one of those candles that you need to get up close to smell, I would say it could easily compete with a Yankee Candle. Even just opening the door to the room where is's burning, you are automatically hit with the scent like a tsunami.

Online there are loads of candles to choose from as well as other items such as room mist sprays and reed diffusers. You can also buy the candles on Amazon as they are slightly cheaper but bare in mind that they might not have all the scented candles available. I think the ones I want to buy next are the coffee one and the coconut ones, I imagine that the coconut one would be perfect for the summer.
