The Best Makeup Wipes Money Can Buy

Monday, 12 December 2016

I've said it before on my blog and I'll say it again: I bloody love makeup wipes.

I honestly don't care that their bad for your skin. I just think they make taking your makeup off a hell of a lot quicker. During my makeup loving years, I've tried a fair few of makeup wipes, some I got on with, others I hated but recently I found makeup wipes which I'll probably continue to buy till I die.

Makeup wipes are the quick and easy way to remove makeup. In general, I don't wear a lot of makeup, all I've been wearing recently is liquid foundation, concealer, powdered foundation, eye brow gel, blusher, eye shadow and mascara. I could probably apply a lot more but this is what I've been wearing for a while now. Seeing as I don't wear a lot of makeup, I can get away with taking it all of with a makeup wipe. I do have my cleansing balm which I do use most of the time but when I have late nights or if I'm extremely tired then I'll go and use a makeup wipe.

Micellar water has been pretty much every now for about a year or two I think and I thought it was, hands down, one of the best things to exist. It literally removed every bit of makeup from my face all in one go. Well, pretty much anyway. However, Garnier had the genius idea to add the micellar water to a makeup wipe. These makeup wipes are a real game changer, all you need is one makeup wipe and that's it! All your makeup removed in one go! It even removes stubborn mascara! Here's what Garnier say:

"Garnier Micellar Extra - Gentle Cleansing Wipes contain thin silk fibres in a thick, soft wipe. Soaked with Micellar water, they are specially formulated for makeup removal on sensitive skin. Like a magnet, the cleansing agents capture impurities and lif away dirt from the skin"

I've been using these wipes for the past couple of months and I'm in love with them. I doubt that I'll be looking at any other makeup wipes from now on. One of the reasons why I love these makeup wipes is the fact that they don't dry up when using them. I've used a lot of cheap ones over the past couple of years and some of them I needed to use several of them because they would dry up as soon as I took them out of the packet.

When I bought these makeup wipes they were on offer at Boots for 2 for £4 and their priced over £3 each so it's a pretty good deal if you ask me. I also noticed that they had these makeup wipes but for people with dry skin so I think they're branching out with makeup wipes for people different skin types. I'd give these makeup wipes 5/5 as I can't really fault them and I recommend them to everyone! You won't be disappointed!
