Bristol Zoo - 22.08.16

All the way back in 2013, I wrote a blog post about reflecting on 2013. I must of found it either on another blog or some sort of website - quite possible tumblr. I don't think I've done another blog post like this since 2013 so I thought this year I would write out another one! Feel free to copy these questions and answer them on your own blog!

1/What did you do in 2016 that you'd never done before?
Probably going on holiday without any sort of adult supervision - because you know, I'm classed as an adult now. Back in June/July my sister and I and some of our friends spent a week in Center Parcs and we all had an amazing time. I would honestly love to go back to again but maybe during the Autumn this time.

2/Did you keep your NYR and will you make more for next year?
Yes, I did keep some of them, I think the main one was driving and now I am a lot more confident with driving but for 2017 I plan on going on some sort of sugar ban, I've said this every year but 2017 is the year that I will stick to it!

3/Did anyone close to you give birth?

4/Did anyone close to you die?

5/What countries did you visit?
I didn't travel abroad anywhere but I did go to Wales a few times which is technically a county! Hopefully by the end of this year or next, I'll have a big holiday booked to somewhere warm!

6/What would you like to have in 2017 that you lacked in 2016?
The only thing that I can really think of is to say that I've drove on the motor way as I've yet to do this but other than that, I can't really think of anything. I'd like to say that I have pretty much everything that I want/need and I feel very grateful for it!

7/What dates from 2016 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
No dates really stand out to me from 2016. The only dates that did stand out were my birthday, families birthdays and Christmas, just those sorts of dates.

8/What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Gaining confidence within myself

9/What was your biggest failure?
I'd like to think I haven't failed anything this year!

10/Did you suffer illness or injury?
Thankfully I didn't!

11/What was the best thing you bought?
My holiday and Beyonce tickets, ha

12/Where did most of your money go?
Probably on food, I tend to eat out a lot, haha

13/What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My birthday. my holiday and Christmas!

14/What song will always remind you of 2016?
There isn't a single song that comes to mind but anything that Heart plays will remind of 2016 because they play the same songs over and over again.

15/Compared to this time last year are you; happier or sadder, thinner or fatter, or richer or poorer?
Happier, fatter and richer.

16/What do you wish you'd done more of?
Probably explored different places more

17/What do you wish you'd done less of?
Eaten less sugar, haha

18/How did you spend Christmas?
I spent it working, eating and spending time with the people I love

19/What was your favourite TV programme?
Coronation Street and Eastenders, ha. I bet this hasn't changed since 2013.

20/What was your greatest musical discovery?
Probably Melanie Martinez as I didn't really venture the music world this year.

21/What was your favourite film of this year?
I think it might of been Deepwater Horizon but I have seen loads of new films this year. Lights Out was a pretty good film as well!

22/Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2016?
It probably would be to just be the bigger person and let things go. Don't retaliate, keep your head down and work hard. Like Beyonce said, your best revenge is your paper.

There a lot more questions to this post but I decided to leave them out because I didn't really have a good answer to a lot of them and thought it would be boring to keep them in without a decent answer.
