Top Three 3 Necklaces

Thursday, 14 November 2013

Good afternoon everyone!

As you can see by the title of the post I'm going to write about my top three necklaces. I feel that jewellery can either make your outfit or completely break your outfit. I have heard that your suppose to put all the jewellery on that you want and then take one thing off and you're good to go. I never really over do it when putting jewellery on as most of mine never compliment each other.

Throughout my years at college and school I've seen a few girls go way over the top with their jewellery resulting in the outfit not really matching. They always use to look weighed down with all the necklaces that they use to wear and I couldn't stand it when they had about 50 bracelets on and it was always on the wrist that they use to write with so whenever we had work to do all I could hear was the banging they made by bashing the bracelets onto the table. It got very annoying.

So without further ado, here are my top three necklaces.

At number three is this lovely little necklace. My sister got me this for my birthday although it wasn't much of a surprise as I walked into Topshop whilst she was buying it, whoops haha. I feel like this necklace can go with most of the things I wear as it isn't over the top and doesn't draw a lot of attention away from the rest of my outfit. If you're wondering what the design is it's the element of air. There are four elements which are: air, earth, water and fire. My sister got me this one as I'm an Aquarius which makes me an air sign. Although a lot of people assume I'm a water sign because my zodiac is Aquarius. I'm not sure at how much it was but I remember it being in the sale at half price. I think maybe £2.50 but I'm not too sure, plus, this was months ago so I don't think they sell it anymore.

At number two we have probably one of my most favourite necklace that I own. I bought it from the Marina and the Diamonds concert I went to last year. ( If you want to read about that then click HERE. ) I wear this mainly with dresses as I think it makes a little bit more feminine, it's also fairly long which makes it perfect when worn with dresses. I'm not sure of the price but I have a feeling it was a little bit expensive for a necklace ( but totally worth it ) I think it was around £10 but don't quote me on it as I did get over a year ago. I've had a lot of compliments when I wear this - even from complete strangers!

Finally at number one is this little beauty. I got this in 2011 ( I think ) from my friend who I met in college when I was doing biology. I love this little necklace because I think it can go with any outfit that I wear. I love the fact that when you open the little envelope there's a little letter saying C'est La Vie ( B*Witched fan anyone? ) The only downside to the necklace is that it rattles when I walk but I don't mind because it's gorgeous! I can't remember what the price was and I can't remember the place she got it from. It was an online shop and when I found it and remember thinking "that is a lot of money for a necklace" .

So those are my top three necklaces!

Which one do you like best?
