Sunday Summary #6

Sunday, 6 October 2013

Happy Sunday everyone!

How on earth is it October already?!? This year is going past so quickly, it's unbelievable. Not long now until all the adverts on the telly are just Christmas ones. Although it is officially Christmas when the Coca Cola advert comes on - fact.

This week has been pretty good. I got the opportunity to see Thriller Live in Bristol yesterday. I had an amazing time and thought the show was just superb. The dancers were astonishing, they would dance non stop for about an hour. How they could do it without panting and wheezing I have no idea, I can't even walk up some stairs without being out of breath when I reach the top so I have no idea how they do it. The dance routine is probably the best work out you could ever do, haha. If you're a fan of Michael Jackson then I seriously do recommend that you go and watch it - you won't be disappointed!

I haven't watched many films this week, in fact I've only watched 2.
  • Submarine - this is such a beautiful movie, I loved it so much. I think this is probably one of my favourite films (even though I say it about most films that I watch) There's just something about this film which to me makes it quite unique. I think I will probably be buying the book to read later on, that's how much I loved the film. I personally think that it's a cross between 500 Days Of Summer and Perks Of Being A Wallflower, so if you liked either of those films then I think you'll probably like this film too.
  • Here Comes The Boom - I wasn't too bothered by this film. To cut a long story short it's just basically a teacher who needs to earn a lot of money for his school by the end of the school year in order to save his friend's job, so he then takes up mixed martial arts to earn the money. It's pretty much the same story line to Dodge ball but I personally didn't find it as good or as funny. It gets a bit violent in some parts as well, which I'm not too keen on. The ending was also pretty predictable so throughout the film you don't have to do much guessing work.

It's probably obvious as to what kind of songs I've been liking this week as I've been obsessing over her for a while.
Katy Perry put on an amazing performance at the end of the iTunes festival, she sang some songs which will be released on her new album Prism, which is going to be released soon!
This is By The Grace Of God and it's such a beautiful song. I'm sure that when her album comes out I'm just going to have it on repeat 24/7. I heard that she plans to go on tour next year which I hope is true because I'd love to see her again.

Hope you've all had an amazing week!
